This episode of Outrage Overload features special guest Andrew Selepak, media professor and expert on the psychology of news. Together, we examine the current state of the media and discuss why so many Americans are feeling frustrated and disengaged.
We explore the impact of constant crisis reporting and partisan narratives. Is the news actually informing us, or is it just manipulating our emotions? What happens when the media landscape thrives on outrage? And are audiences finally starting to push back? Join us for this important conversation on the role of media in our society.

Andrew Selepak is the Program Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Mass Communication program with a specialization in Social Media at the University of Florida in the College of Journalism and Communications. He also teaches in the Department of Media Production, Management & Technology.
